Playing Games is Not too Bad
When you parents complain that you are playing computer games for far too long, you can quote from this gentleman, Samart Benjamin Assarasakorn. I totally agree with him, computer games are no longer shoot shoot shoot without using your brains. Besides destressing, modern computer games also allow you to plan, manage and organize, something that would be very useful in future lives. I love this news article :).

Sentosa Balloonza
Sentosa is a beautiful island touted as an attraction by Singapore. Over the years, massive recreational and tourist attractions are being built there totally transforming the transquil island. Time really passed, Sentosa is 40 years old and to celebrate it, a Sentosa Balloonza was launched with activities such as balloon sculpting workshops,
balloon shows, and a Samba Malasa performance by students from the SIM Singapore Institute of Marketing.
Sentosa being one of Singapore's most famous tourist attractions, I certainly wish it Happy 40th Birthday and hope that it will continue to flourish, continue to attract visitors from Singapore and overseas and continue to thrill everyone with its beauty and attractions.

Book launched to encourage students to take up engineering
Singapore engineers are in demand, but there aren't too many of them. A book is launched by the Deputy Prime Minister Mr Teo Chee Hean to address this problem. The book titled "One Degree, Many Choices" will be distributed to those students about to enter the universities. The book traces the the pioneering batch of engineering students of 1985.
It is good that engineers are being appreciated though I feel that pay maybe an issue, most engineers switch to management or other roles rather than advance through their engineering careers, which is a great pity. Hopefully the recognition of engineers will correct this and provide more incentives for senior engineers to stay and excel in their respective fields.
