Two Uncles Fighting on the Bus

These two fellas should be old enough not to do such crazy things, fighting on the public bus, and what is more being videoed and youtubed!   One of them claim he was suffering from depression.   I don't that he seemed that depressed as compared to combative.

Quarrel over MRT Seat

The young lady gave up her seat for the more elderly woman who appeared to be in perfect health.   Instead of thanking her, she scold her instead and assume that it is her right that the young lady had to give up the seat to her.   She kept scolding until the young lady was fed up too and both started a shouting match.   I would say that elderly must not mean you are right.   Instead the elderly should be a model for the youth rather than being so unreasonable.

Screw Driver Versus Assault Rifle

A man managed to use a screw driver to rob another who had a SAR 21 Assault Rifle.   This incident is indeed kinda strange :(.   I really do not understand how an SAR 21, even though not the newest assault rifle can lost to a 20 cm long screw driver.

Singapore Man Shove Elderly Woman Down Bus

This horrible incident was filmed and the story quickly went viral.   The man defense was that he was a victim of social circumstances.  The old woman pressed the bell to align late and the bus overshot the bus stop when stopping.  Not a big deal at all.  But the man became outraged, threatened to beat up the old lady and shoved her off the bus.   He said he was suffering from clinical depression and was a victim of society.   I cannot accept such excuses.

Casino ban extended to those on financial aid, rental arrears

I have never liked our casinos although they do look very beautiful.   I still fee very strongly against casinos in Singapore.  I am glad to read that casino ban is extended to 15 000 Singaporeans and Permanent Residents.

I am hoping that one of these days, the casinos will be banned again.   Singapore has a very low jobless rate of about 2%, we certainly do not need the jobs that the casinos can offer.   There are a lot of people who say that even if Singaporeans can't gamble in Singapore, they can gamble elsewhere, then let them gamble elsewhere.  Let Singapore be Casino Free!
